Two commits:

  • Add the KiCad MCP server for Claude Code. .mcp.json registers kicad-mcp-pro for the KiCad project in hardware/, and mise.toml installs it with pipx. The server runs the mise-installed binary rather than uvx. The project path is relative (hardware): Claude Code starts the server in the directory it was launched from, so launch it from the repo root. kicad-mcp-pro doesn't look in subfolders for the project, so pointing it at the repo root would find nothing.
  • CI: one firmware and one host job, cache ESP-IDF. fmt, clippy and build/test now run as steps of one job each, instead of a matrix. The steps share the toolchain restore and the target dir. The firmware job caches firmware/.embuild as release.yml does, so firmware jobs no longer each download and compile ESP-IDF.
